if I were a rich man
Mike has eight younger brothers and sisters and I've only met six of them, including Matt, featured above. Matt is the richest man in Eagle River, Alaska. I don't know what it's like to be rich in Eagle River, Alaska, but if it's like being rich on Saipan, I'm sure he has the biggest hut in the village along with the only ham radio that the natives huddle around so they can listen to smooth jazz.

looks pretty rich, there holding your baby boy.
Does he also yell the loudest? He looks very yelly. But what can you really know from 1 photo...?
found your site from dooce's - just stopped by to say hi!
He does look like he's yelling in that picture...
He does appear to have good teeth, which as you probably know, is a sign of wealth. Are there dentists in Alaska? I don't remember any on Northern Exposure or Men in Trees. Which is where I've gleaned all my knowledge of Alaska.
haha, that picture is awesome. He looks like he's screaming at the top of his lungs and Nathan's just got that nonchalant look on his face.
I wouldn't assume he was "Eagle River, Alaska's Richest Man" just by looking at him. But, then again, the richest person I know is a tiny old Pakistani stalker. So what the hell would I know? He does look like Mike, though.
Wait...they don't have huts in Alaska do they? I picture him in the biggest igloo around...listening to smooth jazz...and eating seal fat (according to someone I knew who lived in AK...they eat a lot of seal fat up there...mmmmm...seal fat.)
I lived in AK for 13 years and never ate seal fat.
As far as I can remember, being the Richest Man in Eagle River would be like being the richest man in, say, Kent.
Hey . . . I've actually been to Eagle River, Alaska!
