the new year
I didn't make it to midnight last night. I drank some TheraFlu and went to bed.
I'm getting old, folks. In a few weeks, I'll be 25. 25! I'll be 75 years closer to 100! EEP! There are already some fine lines appearing on my forehead which means I can inject my skin with botox bubbles and apply for Real Housewives of Orange County or I can stop acting surprised whenever people tell me completely new information. I cannot help the latter.
The other night, Mike told me that he was one of the only kids who did not see the Sound of Music in the theater and I was shocked. Not shocked that he didn't have the money because I knew that he grew up in a house of nine children and I would imagine that in desperate times they had to co-shoe, but I cannot believe that the Sound of Music didn't always exist in a two-disc Collector's DVD set.
Nathan already knew this. He knows I had him just so I would have someone my age to play with.

25 isn't very old! It's all in how you FEEL. I feel somewhere around 52.
My Mr. will be thirty in February...he thinks he's really old.
I made it to 12:20! Long enough to sip some champagne and crawl to bed. :D

I will be 25 in a few weeks also! January 28 to be exact. Do we have the same birthday because that would be nice. I wish I could already be graduated from college, a wife, a mother, and a funny beautiful woman* like you are! But I don't want to do any of the work, oh well, there is always next year

Thanks a lot Mona, you just made me realize how ANCIENT I am! ha ha...In a few weeks, I will be 37! I have to savor these last few years before I hit the big 4 *cough**cough* o...yikes! Gotta go look for grey hairs now...see ya!
I hit 34 last week. But the question is, have you transversed that moment in time when you suddenly change from a "miss" to a "ma'am"? As in, "Excuse me, ma'am, do you need some help carrying yourself across the street?" I have. It sucks.

My birthday is on the 24th, and I will be *27*.
25 was not terrible, but I cried buckets on my 26th when I realized I was now "approaching 30" and no longer closer to being a teen than I was to the 3-0.
